This weekend I might have just sat down through several hours of watching film documentaries about food, food, and more food (the healthy kind) Oh! and about water. I have heard of films like “Super Size Me” or “Food Inc” but it’s just never called my attention to watch. I guess I am guilty of thinking that it’s “better” of I don’t know.. WRONG! If with other things in my life I want to be well informed before I decide, I should apply the same principal to what I decide to put in my mouth and into my body. I have NEVER dieted (I’ve never believed in it) but I do rather believe in making healthy eating a way of life. Aside from the those documentaries I mentioned, I instead decided to watch Hungry For Change, Fat Sick and Nearly Dead and Tapped. I can honestly say that these films REALLY motivated me to eat better. I wanted to try juicing. Personally, I’ve NEVER done it in my life, but I do LOVE buying freshly squeezed juice π I asked my friend to let me borrow it for three days so I could try it out. Today was my first full day of juicing on my own and I am LOVING it!!!!!! I still have Monday and Tuesday to go, but I am determined to do a mini cleanse (which I have never done) and see how it makes me feel…So stay tuned π
And about my garden tomatoes … they died π Something just didn’t work out, and I hope next year will be better. I was told that it might have been that I didn’t prepare the soil with enough nutrients. I am new to gardening, so I was a little bummed. I did manage to take a some photos of the few cherry tomatoes we did get π
