Can you tell I’ve simplified the blog a bit? In the hopes of making it a little ummm.. should I say, less crowded (less labels or categories) I consolidated a lot of categories. It just didn’t make sense to have several photography related categories. I have also debated for some time if to add a description to the blog, and this time I figure it’s a good idea, since again, the blog includes several of my happy interests. Photography because who are we kidding, that’s what got all this blogging idea started. Life, because I share my day to day with phone snapshots and/or personal thoughts. And creativity, well, as you know I love anything related to that term 🙂
Another thing that has changed is the web address. It is now simply www.rosaguerrablog.com I removed the photography part. I think it was a tad to long and really, this blog is a little about everything, not just about photography.
While I was trying to update the blog I was playing around with coding. It’s pretty crazy what a few characters can do to make changes to blog templates! I tried two things; first I tried to add that mini PIN button and succeeded (but then changed my mind and removed it) Then I wanted to know how to center header on blogger (I googled instructions) and I succeeded! I really like the simple look of white, and the not too busy design I have going on here. I have contemplated the idea of buying a custom made blog design or hiring someone to do a custom made one, but it just doesn’t make sense when what I want is so plain and simple.
It’s going to be four years since I started this blog and I’ve enjoyed enjoyed sharing bits of my life (I know my future self will appreciate it). All these photos I post serve me as a quick reminder of all the good things in my life and that no matter how busy I can be, there is always time to sit, breath and recount (in this case download) all those visual memories made (photographed). Thank you friends for following along and for as (many of these photos come to show) being part of my life 🙂
So, here are a few things that went on during the month of January. I am trying something new, instead of the usual iPhone photos I did a mini video. I mostly wanted to try out making something like this for trips or vacations, so not bad for my first time. Enjoy! It comes along with a happy song 😉
