So today I am sharing something special… an Anniversary session! Special because this just reminds me how some of the most amazing friendships can come to be. We met Jonathan and Emily almost a two years ago, and since they moved to our area we have become really good friends. We have many friends, many come and go, but there are those that you just know they will be around for a VERY long time. I shot their engagement session last year, and it is still one of my favorites. The way I edit and shoot has changed a bit since then, but one thing that I still strive to achieve is capturing that special connection between two people that care deeply for each other, and these two really have all that lovey dovey stuff going on ๐
We went to Napa (on a very hot day!) and we survived the heat. I also took my film camera, but those images will have to wait a little longer (so excited for those to arrive!!). Sooo, without further ado, here are some of my favorites!
Started off lunch at V-Sattui (one of our favorites and a MUST for us every time we visit Napa)๏ปฟ
Then headed to Castello di Amorosa๏ปฟ
I couldn’t decide on black or white on this bottom image, so I did both and loved it! this is the color version ๐

Emily and Jonathan, oh! I sure hope you love these as much as I do. I hope to have captured at least a small fraction of that love you share and that beautiful friendship you hold besides being happily married ๐ Love you both plenty!
