Lake Tahoe, Friends & Nature

No, Downey did not sleep on the dog house.. that’s for animals. 😉

We thought were going to have a snow vacation without the snow, but as it turnes out, it did snow! Well, not THAT much but just enough :).

Alright, so I confess, I wasn’t all that thrilled about going to Tahoe this year, but Francis was more than happy to do all the planning this time around and wow! I mean, look at this house! It was very pretty inside and out with one funny crazy exception.. the first time that my brother was about to use the jacuzzi in the master bedroom which was directly under our bed, there turned out to be a water leak on our roof landing directly on our bed and almost ~~I would say extrememly close~~ ruining my laptop. We had to move the bed, dry our bed sheets and part of the mattress with the blowdryer..sigh! so much for the jacuzzi! lol

This time we didnt go through the stress of finding a dog sitter, however we did have to find a place that accepted dogs and with hardwood floors, cause I tell you, cleaning dog pee from carpet is not my idea of fun. Although he is housebroken, if he can tell there were other dogs in the house he will start marking the territory, and that my friends is no fun for us, but he did very well.

As far as photography goes, this was the first time for me shooting stark white snow on manual mode and I did it! I was nervous about over exposure, but it wasn’t bad at all and it sure gave me a lot of practice 🙂 There is so much to see here in Lake Tahoe and we don’t tire of coming to visit, so hopefully next year there will be more snow or maybe we can head over during summer, I hear it’s completely different.

{Que bueno que nevó una semana antes de visitar Lake Tahoe, bueno, no tanto, pero lo suficiente 🙂 Confieso que no tenia muchas ansias de venir a Tahoe esta temporada, pero Francis estuvo súper dispuesto para hacer todos los arreglos y wow! que bonito lugar nos encontró! La casa estuvo bonita, por dentro y fuera, todo bien, pero con una excepción chistosa. Termino habiendo una gotera en el techo de nuestra recamara a causa del jacuzzi que se encontraba en el cuarto principal. Mi hermano A PUNTO de meterse cuando le toco la puerta para darle la mala noticia que tendría que dejar ir el agua.. haha… valla desilusión! El siguiente día supuestamente lo arreglaron pero ya no nos quizimos arriesgar, pues la gotera estaba justo arriba de nuestra cana que tuvimos que mover. Ah! y la gotera CASI que CASI cae directamente en mi compu portátil.. eso si hubiera sido fatal! ~~aunque quizá hubiera salido con compu nueva si se me hubiera estropeado no?~~ Esta vez nos trajimos Downey, así que no tuvimos el estrés de buscar quien lo cuidara, pero si un lugar que aceptaran perritos bien portados 🙂

En cuanto a fotografia se refiere, esta fue la primera vez tomando fotos en programación manual y no me fue nada mal, ademas que me dio mucha practica. En fin, a tanto que ver en Lake Tahoe y nunca nos cansamos de visitar. Lo que tendremos que hacer es conocer Lake Tahoe pero durante el verano, cosa que aun no hemos hecho, escuchamos que es completamente diferente.}
