I was ready! Armed with an SB900 speedlight and my Nikon D700 I was ready to learn and conquer the use of artificial light! It was not bad at all! I enjoyed learning from Justin & Mary as well as getting hands on practice with on-camera lighting. They started by having us ask ourselves the WHY of things, WHY we love photography, WHY it moves us so much. I spoke about MY “Why” here last year when I was barely starting with this little blog. Knowing why or remembering why we do things or love doing something so much can give is the motivation to continue on doing what we love. It applies to everything really.
So, here are a few photos from the night, my first time with On-camera flash 🙂
