Little Treasures

October 31, 2011

If there is one thing I am NOT, I think that would have to be a compulsive shopper.  But sometimes I wish I was for just a few minutes at a time.  Why? because I take FOREVER to make up my mind!  Sigh! …I know, I know, how could anyone ever go to several countries and only buy this?!! Im just way to picky and well, I have issues about having too many knick knacks at home.
Anyway, now that I look back at my purchases I can gladly say that I am happy with these very few purchases I made for my self, with the exception of the one bought in Venice.  That one started out being a “gift” for my hubby, but since I also personalized it for my use, well, it ended up being a “gift” for both .. HA!
We did end up buying more things, but as little gifts for friends and family.  I guess In a way, for me just clicking the shutter of my camera felt like one small gift for me every time and that may be the reason why I wasn’t concentrating too much on buying.  And with all the airline baggage restrictions out there, I am sure glad I didn’t have to worry about weight or size with these little babies below 😉
Little treasures from Istanbul, Turkey and Mikonos, Greece
I am a fan of hangings like these.. and I definitely had a hard time choosing from a wide variety.
I love this!  Our shared gift from Venice, Italy 🙂
Found these babies in Madrid and in just the color I was looking for…yay!
Some wall art for the office.  An old world map.
