Mariah

I can still remember when I graduated Middle School (yeah, I’m not THAT old ey!) and I remember being 14. Insecure, awkward, and so self aware of my self. Did Mariah show sign of any of these characteristics? not in the least! She was so comfortable in front of the camera, happy and just being herself. If there was something I could tell my younger self would be to loosen up, BE YOURSELF! Peer pressure to be like the rest is strong, and the desire to fit in is ever present during our school years, but being different is OK :). We were originally planning to do the session in downtown, but the more I thought about it, I thought it would be just perfect to walk around the neighborhood where Mariah grew up.

Mariah, may these photos remind you how beautiful you are, inside AND out. Never let pesky insecurities bring you down (we all get them!) instead, lean on your true friends who will always be there and love you just the way you are 🙂
