Lifestyle photography; a style of photography which aims to portray real-life situations in a controlled setting. Lighting is bright, airy and natural-looking, another definition would be photography that captures a slice of life in un-staged, natural settings, as events are occurring but in an artistic manner. How beautiful does THAT sound!
Of course I didn’t exactly have in mind doing a “Lifestyle session” when I decided to shoot photos of Isa sleeping, but that is what I actually ended up capturing, a “real life situation but with an artistic manner” 🙂 I just think there is something SO sweet about babies and toddlers when they are sleeping and barely waking up. She hadn’t seen me, so when she woke up she had beautiful sweaty hair, soft, warm rosy cheeks and was so shy that she didn’t want to come out of the room. Loved every moment of it!
