Us woman we tend to be so terribly self conscious with the way we look, especially in photos. Part of our insecurities may be due to obsessing over minor imperfections or perceived flaws. Correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t we always check if we got a double chin?.. Guilty! or if our tummy was showing a bit more (cause we know how the camera adds pounds, right?!)… Guilty! or if our cheeks are too chubby.. Guilty… or if we look just plain silly… Guilty too!! Well, I have decided to free my self of this self consciousness as much as I possibly can. Why? because in the end, WE are the ones that most notice these many times insignificant things. We are photographed just as we are and how others see us, however when WE look at ourselves we expect too see images of non existent perfection. We are beautiful just as we are, really!.
Here are a few images that my friend Diana took of us (Thank you Diana!!). I admit that it wasn’t until recently that I have been a lot more, or should I say, I have TRIED to be better at accepting my own self perceived physical flaws and embracing little things that I was and sometimes continue to be self conscious about. Like what? double chin.. uhu! not being a size 4 (I will never be it) and other silly things. In a few years when I’m not 35 I will wish I looked like this again, so I best stop complaining ;).
How comfortable are you in front of the camera? if not much… let it go and just go with it, trust me, a smile goes a LONG way 😉
(a nuestros ojos claro).
Y tu? que tan cómoda estas frente a una cámara? si no tanto, despreocupate! creeme cuando te digo que una sonrisa es todo lo que se necesita! }
My favorite!
A little silliness is OK!
I am starting to notice a pattern here.. see how it’s still not in my complete nature to kiss in front of others?!

Major cheek alert! but it’s OK, I love the photo as is 🙂
If there is one thing I absolutely love is my hubbies smile and laughter.
See the double chin going on?! lol Doesn’t matter, I love the moment captured!
