First week of Shelter in place March 25, 2020 Crazy times we’re living in. It is both a bit scary but exciting at the same time. It’s exciting to see Bible prophesy becoming a reality in our times. I’ve tried to keep busy with a routine similar to the one I have when I do have to go into the office. It’s been KEY for me to shower, dress and do my makeup so I feel put together and feel good too. I have tried to the the following;1. Limit watching News to once a day. I have just stuck to SF Gate for the local news. I have had to MUTE some IG accounts for now because I noticed that some were constantly “alerting” or sensationalizing the events. It’s serious what is going on, but when we are being bombarded from all angles about the BAD it an get a bit overwhelming and it just isn’t healthy.2. FaceTime! I am such a fan of FT now. I have never FaceTimed so much! We are making dates with friends and doing all we can to stay REALLY connected. I really hope to keep this up when this is all “over”. We certainly cannot face things alone and this is where FaceTime comes in. We need the support of friends and family.3. Hobby’s! I am so exciting to finally starting to feel little by little more confident with my watercolors. I am YouTubing tutorials and it has helped a lot! I recently started watercoloring people and I have realized that I HAVE to outline first before I color. I am not good at freestyle watercolor.4. Exercise! I have been walking everyday and I am happy about that. Weather hasn’t been great, but at least it hasn’t been raining constantly. I uploaded a free trial of DailyBurn for my at home workouts and it has worked very goo. It takes a bit to get used to, but it does give me a sweat for sure!5. JW Broadcast EVERY DAY! Every day I start with a morning worship video, something that when I work away from home I don’t get to do so consistently because of the rush, but so far I have made sure to watch a video, movie or any encouraging program. Such a blessing to have this provision. I have a feeling that there might be some good new habits that will come out of this, but I will leave that for another post. Stay safe! I’ve been making list of essential groceries so we only make one run to the supermarket instead of several during the week. I hope to REALLY stick to going once a week. My tendency is to go about three times a week 🙁 Coffee, a MUST in the morning I usually make overnight oats, but since we have time in the morning, I have been doing same morning oats.. haha. Francis was able to bring his other screen from work, so now he has two screens and thankfully able to work from home. This guy is going to have separation anxiety once we go back to work! He has been one happy dog, except for the walks, he does NOT like walks 🙁 MY setup. I keep things simple. watercolor love. Yes, there are some lazy moments too. Art in session. I am loving painting people! If you have IG and follow me, you will know that last friday Francis did a little tutorial about making French 75 /95 It was a HIT! so now, we place to film another one… haha, the things you do when you have time! French 95 FaceTiming with our “daughter” Mitzy and the producer of the drink tutorial video 🙂 See, FaceTiming again! It took a little getting used to, but video chatting with more than one person is a lot of fun too. We had our first meeting with Zoom video and it was Amazing!! We are never alone and it is a GREAT blessing to always being connected with our friends. The best of the best times, even under difficult times.
