I am feeling so extremely grateful to have such amazing friends and family that loves us so much. My sister, sister in law and my mom threw Francis and I a beautiful anniversary dinner this past Saturday. From the all the details to the delicious food and not to mention the beautiful landscape at our friends backyard!! All their hard work was evident. There is always excitement but also stress when it comes down to planning an event and to see the end product, one feels MORE than happy. To my mom Estella to my sweet sister in law Evelyn and fun, crafty sister Gloria, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We love you to pieces and appreciate everything you do to always make us feel loved and needed.
All those that were there to celebrate with us have seen us grow in so many ways. Several have been an extraordinary example of love and faithfulness in their own marriages. Some have been married for 13, 15, 20, 30+ years! Seeing them happy and together after so many years is living proof that marriages DO last :). Our Creator is without a doubt smiling down at us for living up to our promise to stay together in the good times and in the bad ones too :). A good sense of humor definitely does help in staying together I tell you, as you will see in the next few photos.. haha. Although I didn’t take too many photos (we left that up to my brother, who posted some other photos here) here are a few that show the love and silliness of these crazy and amazing friends that we are so blessed to have.
In Events like these there are friends and family that immediately come to mind and that because of distance we can’t get to spend as much time together as we would like. To you dear, dear friends in Spain, Mexico and Guatemala … we miss you always and would have LOVED to have you here with us celebrating.
En eventos especiales como estos, siempre nos vienen a mente amigos y familia que debido a la distancia no podemos vernos tan seguido, pero que extrañamos muchísimo. A ustedes queridos amigos y familia en Mexico, Guatemala y España, los extrañamos siempre y nos hubiera gustado mucho haberlos tenido aquí para celebrar con nosotros. }
