My goodness! It is a love and hate with WordPress. I am still wanting to make this blog updating simpler, and this program is not making it any easier. I’d like to just add photos without having to fidget around with the size or the alignment of the phots, which I didn’t worry about before, but every “update” gets more and more annoying. Anywaaaay, 2019 has come and gone. Our days this past year have been filled with friends, family, good things and not so good things, but life GOOOES OOOON! so they say. We took a Portland trip earlier in 2019 to visit the Mayan group and we enjoyed out time, as always. My beautiful nice had her last year in Fiesta Gardens and has moved to Sacramento 🙁 We had our friends from Yucatan come back for the memorial and we had such a great time having a little picnic by the beach in Half Moon Bay – we have the beach so close and yet traffic makes it seem so far. Sad.
Our niece from Guatemala visited and now we cannot wait to fo back in Spring. Our visit to Dallas, where my sister lives was so much fun. Definitely, not California. We had great food and I loved all them little neighborhoods that my sister took us to. The murals were a highlight. We did a little day trip to Austin and we also could not get enough of the murals :).
Dominican Republic!! We made it, finally! We had a BLAST with our lifelong friends and soaking every bit of sun that we could.
Just going through some of the photos reminds me how so blessed we are to have an amazing group of friends that make every single year that passes by the that more enjoyable.
Well, for this year we already have a few trips planned. Last year was the first time we plan our outing throughout the year, so that we don’t get to that point where we feel groggy, tired or in desperate need of a fresh breather or break in the daily routine. By the time we need a vaca, airfares are much more expensive, so this year, we are starting early with our airfare search. Also, if travel – even if it is a weekend- doesn’t get planned, life jus happens and then NOTHING happens, so we have to MAKE it happen 🙂
