Pretty Things

Our wedding photographer was not into details, so he missed the boutonniere and my headpiece handmade by my aunt, as well as other tidbits at the reception.  So, it was a good excuse to bring them out and shoot some film 🙂
The glittery shoes, I’ve had for a while now, and believe it or not, I have not wore them YET.. sigh!  I wanted to test out shooting small details with my Nikon F100, and so far so good,

Taking Gaby and some Kodak Portra 400 for a spin

It was Gaby’s FIRST time wine tasting as an official adult! (we are still pretty surprised she didn’t get carded ONCE! .. hmmm) We took a day trip to Napa and hit our favorite wineries, aside for one new one.  Weather was beautiful and the company perfect.

Home on film

Here’s a little randomness from around the house 🙂  This was part of me playing around with film, AGAIN.  I am finally getting to know how much I like to overexpose when I shoot on Fuji 400H.  I like it perfect when it’s over 1-1/2 to 2 full stops.  When overexposed, shots become softer and much less contrasty.  I sent them to Indie Film Lab, BUT even when I send it to them I STILL have to do minor adjustments
