Some Kodak Portra 800

Here is some film lovin’!  This was my first time trying Kodak Portra 800.  You can can check out the digital shots here .  Very different feel to them.  These are softer in tone and alas … very, VERY minimal editing!  
The focus fall off is beautiful!  Scanning could have been better (Walgreens) 
Loving film for close-ups!

Tips : Planning for a wedding day timeline

I am by no means a wedding planner.  But, I have photographed my own share of weddings to help give out a few tips in regards to preparing a wedding timeline.  I remember enjoying doing this when I was going through my own wedding planning, it was as if I was already “living” the wedding day as I was writing it down.. I was looking through some film photos and saw that I had not shared these.  My mom, brother and I went to the De Young museum in SF a few months ago, and snapped a few photos.  These were taken with the Nikon F100 Fuji 400H.  I set the ISO to 200 and usually over expose by one or 1 1/2 stops.  I am feeling more and more comfortable with it.  I’ve taken the same approach when shooting digital
