It’s been a while

December 25, 2012

I seriously don’t know why it has taken me so long to post this photos.  I rented a Nikon F100 some time ago and while on a mini session with these beautiful girls decided to take a few shots using film.  It had been a LONG time since I shot film and many of the shots were mostly underexposed ๐Ÿ™
I used to own a Nikon FM10 back when I took a photography class and knew the sweet spots of my camera, but with this one, well, it was pretty much experimental.  Shooting with a camera that is not mine can take me a bit to get used to.  I had never scanned film negatives, so that was also a first.  Since this initial trial shooting with film again, I have finally decided to purchased my own Nikon F100 and I am THRILLED!!  I still have a long way to go and can’t wait to continue learning and shooting more film ๐Ÿ™‚
How about you?  When was the last time you used a film camera?
I might just need these beautiful models again for another film portrait session ๐Ÿ˜‰
I LOVE the grain and the color of film.

If you like film photography here are a few film photographers worth following ๐Ÿ˜‰
