Manny & Diana | 5 Year anniversary!

September 12, 2012

Anniversary celebrations without a doubt are worth having at least every few years.  After all, marriage SHOULD be celebrated! There are many ways to do this, be it with a fancy little party like this one photographed, or be it with just a small dinner date, just the two of you and no one else :).  No matter what we choose to do, big or small it’s nice to remember.  I had so much fun taking these photos and documenting a little bit of this special day.  We have known Manny and Diana for the length of their marriage and have great admiration for their love towards one another.  “Honey”, “Sweetie”, the terms of endearment are a constant with these two and I LOVE it!  Not to mention the way they treat each other with such tenderness, this, for me is what stands out the most :).  Manny and Diana,  enjoy the photos!  Hope that they take you back to this day and bring you sweet, sweet memories every time.

{ No cabe la menor duda que los aniversarios de bodas merecen ser celebrados.  Después de todo, un matrimonio duradero ( 1, 5, 10 o mas años) amerita SER celebrado!  Ya sea preparando una fiesta con invitados Ooo aunque sea con una cena romántica, solo la parejita sola y nadie mas :).  A lo grande o a lo pequeño, es bonito recordar :).  De verdad que me divertí mucho tomando algunas fotos durante el día.  Todo estuvo precioso!!  Hemos conocido a Many y Diana por el tiempo que llevan casados y dejenme decirles que términos como “Honey” “Sweetie” (o cariño en español) son expresiones comunes entre ellos y me ENCANTA!  La ternura que se demuestran uno al otro es para mi lo que mas me conmueve :).  Manny y Diana, Gracias por dejarme ser parte de este día especial para ustedes y que disfruten las fotos tanto como yo! }

Hellooo!!!  Gorgeous Diana!!
Now, see the look on the left?.. THAT my friends is the look of love! (staring at her hubby of course 🙂
Making sure I captured the hairstyle! 🙂 (did I say she loved it already? 😉
Fave of mine!
Love me tender!! .. another favorite of course!

Girls, always, ALWAYS feel beautiful when you are photographed!
Ok, let me take a moment and let you all know that Diana did a FABULOUS job decorating this venue.
From the flowers to the color coordinating.
Everything came together nicely with the help of friends and family.
If ever in need of renting dinnerware, email me for contact info 😉
Having a sister that bakes is a plus (trust me, I know this!) Lori did a beautiful job with the cupcakes.  It was impossible to just have one!

And so they partied happily ever after.

For photographers: Gear used, Nikon D700 and 50 1.4 lens only.  Manual settings all the way, making exposures were correct in camera.  This wast the first time that I tried shooting at 1.4 and I LOVE LOVE LOVED the results!  I used this wide aperture on most of Diana’s portraits and the first few couple shots.  Portrait shots were taken an hour before sunset.
