Saturday in the park & 35mm lens play date

This Saturday was the first Saturday in a VERY long time that I just chill, stroll around the park and hang with a dear friend and with my niece Taylor.  I rented a 35mm lens which I had been wanting to try out for a while now and I gotta say, I REALLY liked it.  The focal length was especially a favorite thing for me :).  Maybe that will be my next “self present”?

Started my long awaited photography workshop and so far so good.
I am learning so much and can’t wait to implement what I learn, especially in being able

Franciso & Nina

Presenting one of my favorite couples, Nina and Francisco.  I’ve decided to steal Nina one more time because she totally rocks as a model!  🙂  They are both the parents of Ethan, pictured here.  I think modeling runs in the family, don’t you think? ;).  These images here are still part of my practice sessions with dramatic light, and like I said before, I am totally liking this look.  It gives such a nice feeling to an image.  I
