Pilar expecting baby No. 2

When I saw her in this pretty black lace dress I knew it would be the perfect outfit for her maternity session.  She sure had that pregnancy glow.  By just looking at her pretty petite frame you would never guess that she is almost due!  Pilar and I go to the same congregation, so I couldn’t let her have this baby without gifting her a few photos so she can remember this special stage in her family’s life.  🙂

My simple lentil soup

Really, this has got to be the easiest soup ever!  Finding so many cooking blogs has inspired me to try new recipes and new greens. Lentils can be the easiest to cook, but if you’re like me, you have probably tried cooking with them once or twice (more like once!) and then never again.  Well, I am taking advantage that Francis loves soups, and as it turns out, soups are some of the easies dishes one can make 🙂

Out with the old and in with the new
